The smell of old houses and barns has always been a part of me. Growing up in New England will do that. After graduating from college with a degree in Geology, I fell into a boat building job in historic Gloucester, MA. It was here I got my feet wet (pun intended) in the wood working business. After a few years of crawling around in and on old boats, I realized I wanted something a bit less slimy but still in the wood fabrication business. Luckily I convinced an old cabinet maker in Maine to take on an apprentice and the rest is history.

I’ve now been designing and building for over 20 years. Like most, it began in the cabinet making business. Countless kitchens, built-ins, bathrooms and furniture has been made. But my real passion was in combining paint colors and natural wood tones. Maybe you’ve noticed the style already in the gallery?
